Community Emergency Response Teams

For those interested in learning how to help others during times of disaster, you can become involved in a Community Emergency Response Team in Spokane Valley. You will learn about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact your area and will be trained in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations.

We need all new volunteers to fill out Spokane's Volunteer Application form. Please type your information online in the yellow highlighted fields, print, sign both pages, and send to Spokane DEM, Attn: CERT, 1121 W Gardner Ave., Spokane, WA 99201 with a copy of your driver's license or other photo ID.
